hello all. New member here thought i'd post my site to start with.

Some original tracks, some sample based, some mashups & some remixes.

Disregarding the mashups, I would say that my remixes have recieved the best feedback - and I'm really still working on the completely original production stuff. I feel that i've not quite nailed it yet - but I guess you can have a look for yourself.

I should mention though - that if you want to sign up for my newsletter - You'll get exclusive tracks that regular visitors don't get access to - and you'll get first access (usually by about a week) to the new tracks on the site. I can't stress enough how much I hate spam and newsletters that appear every day/week - so I try to keep the emails to a minimum. Just reserved for new productions really.

The splash page is going to be getting a slight tweak over the next couple of days - but apart from that, the site's just been re-designed, so all aboard and help yourselves!

Super stuff, some cracking stuff there - couldn't help but chortle along to The Next wonderful Christmas. Quality.

How do you go about doing the remixes and mashups, is it just a case of pulling the bit out of a track you want, or is there a secret?

It varies for most projects.

Some mashups - there's instrumentals & vocals available, which helps, but for alot of the remixes, I just took the track and went about EQing various parts in and out of the mix. It's not really an exact science, but sometimes cutting the badd or treble can have a nice effect.

One or two of the remixes - there are parts available (for example Sasha gave away bits of his album on his site for a while) and sometimes you'll find a vocal on a B-Side, or a drum-tool on a rare edition of the single etc.

I tend to just hoard these sort of things, in the hope that one day it'll be handy in a mashup or remix.

A good place to start for vocals though is www.acapellas4u.co.uk (think that's right) - they have plenty vocals to go round!

Well constructed tracks. They have energy from begining to end and some tidy breaks. Well done.
