weird thing

Post by Qnnilson » Thu Jan 11, 2007 6:01 pm

hello

when i listen, for example, a 1 bar bassline made only with a square or saw waveform (no filters or effects) in any "analog" soft synth with headphones for a while, and then stop the clip (to make this post "live-friendly" :)) suddendly everything i hear sounds like there's water inside my ears.

has anyone felt this before?

how can i get rid of this?

stop listening so loud and get better headphones, ear fatigue can be an issue.

my $0.02.

lol, yeah i agree.

there are a lot of mainly electro tunes with a simple bassline using just a single sawtooth waveform, no filters... nothing, and i don't get that freaky thing on my ears, so i suppose there's a way of avoiding that... i can't think of anything
