I'm trying the Live 6 demo out before upgrading.
Here's what I'm trying to do.
Create a soundtrack to a video in Live
1. Play a video in Live
2. Use the MIDI controller I built in Max (kinda like Music Mouse).
3. The MIDI controller triggers samples in 4 Channels in Live - each with a simpler.
I can't seem to keep the video window visible when I switch to play the MIDI controller from Max. The simplers are playing audio but as soon as I touch the Max MIDI controller the video window in Live disappears.
The same setup works fine with Digital Performer - it's just that I would prefer to create the soundtrack in Live.
Anu suggestions or is this just a limitation of video in Live 6
