warping/moving

Post by jordan0149 » Mon Jan 15, 2007 2:31 am

I recorded a piece with my guitar and i was a little late on the 3rd measure.
How can I move the measure ahead with out warping the track?

When ever I warp it it sounds all wavy and sometimes distorted.

try a different warp mode, ie not complex.

or

in arrange view drop two copies of the tracks down, use volume envelopes to fade from one to the other, one in normal time, one in corrected time.

or

slice up the waveform and move around the chunks

or

play the piece over again

or...

;)

well, im having a pretty hard time trying to do that.
So i was thinking that I should just take out a 16th of it (or so).
How do I do that? It must be easy. I just need to know how to select an area of the track...
then I just press DEL, right?
