The thing that makes me laugh, is that everyone acts as if their honor must be defended at all costs on the internet. An insult on the net, and it's game on, survival of the angriest. Seems we forget you can just walk away and not give a fuck. It's like arguing with a wall. Your life just won't change at all either way. I got into it once with some guy because he was being a dick, so I told him he was being a dick. Then he raged and started making claims about my personality like i had a big ego etc., and the retardedness of the whole situation just made me wonder why I bothered.

Personally I'd rather save it for Huge Angry Crunchy drums and nasty synth riffs.

Real school yard bullies, the kind that beat up kids in your school, do not hang around in public music forums, they are too busy working at some lame ass oil change station somewhere, and bitching about how their once hot teenage wife got fat.
What you get here, and on every forum out there pretty much is kids that have some anger issues. Nerds who couldn't defend themselves in real life against the assholes in high school go online and act tough etc. because it's safe, genshi and eyeknow will never meet in real life for instance.

I think the name calling is stupid, if you have a point make it, but just telling somebody to fuck off online isn't doing any good IMO.

My guess is that there is a HUGE age gap here too. Just because I'm all hyped up on green tea and chatty, I would venture to guess gensi to be around 40+, while eyeknow is mid twenties tops.

I don't have any sides in this BTW, both you two have said lame ass things to each other without thinking about what the other might feel. Now I want you both to start attacking me for this post, and become good friends through PM's about what POS loser I am!

Actually I totally agree with you (and you hit my age dead on.) I tried putting the issue to rest but these two kids, eyeknow and zappen, just keep instigating. I even admitted I was being too sensitive and the reasons why, but they will keep on going with there crap, not just with me, but with anyone they see as an easy target... and to me THAT is a bully.

I won't be posting on this subject anymore as an attempt to make peace. And I do apologize to ALL for my part in letting this get out of hand.

lol, you kids are all so funny. Here's my take on all of this:

1. genshi was taking things way too personally though he made good solid arguments that were backed up for the most part and more importantly he did apologize several times it looks like.

2. eyeknow dished out the bad shit first and I called him on in. yep, called him a Prat. Not the worst thing to call anyone. certainly not as bad as what he is calling genshi after genshi apologized.

3. all those videos were funny and we should all just move on, nothing to see here...

I don't think gensi seems like a bad sort, just touchy about Apple, and easily riled. You never know dude, in real life you two might hit it off, it's just how we come across on the internet that gets people miffed.

Sad part is I'm just as confrontational in real life.... my friends are always wondering how I manage to not get my ass kicked just walking down the street.
