1) can’t control redrum in reason
midi-track in ableton: midi to reason, unit redrum
in reason: redrum routet to hw-interface 3/4, reasons audio-output to ableton
in ableton: audio from reason, channel 3/4, monitor in
play on the claviatur, no sound. why? it isn’t possible to control
reasons unit redrum via ableton with midi?
2) in ableton: if record button is switched-off, no sound
midi-track in ableton: midi to reason, unit malström
in reason: malström routet to hw-interface 5/6, reasons audio-output to ableton
in ableton: audio from reason, channel 5/6, monitor in
play on the claviatur, there’s sound. so far so good. in ableton:
creat a midi-clip, switched-on record-button, play some midi-notes,
stop clip, switched-off record button.
now: play the midi-clip, there’s no sound. strange: play the midi-clip
with record-button switched-on, there’s sound.
that’s fuckin’ uncool. with this strange bearing i can’t control another reason
unit. midi-clips plays only with sound if record-button switched-on. so imagine:
control another reason unit and play on the claviatur for monitoring........halleluja!
fuckin’ overdubs on every midi-clip!
any proposals?
