Hello all!
I did post this in the other section of the forum but I think this is possible the best place to ask this. my set up Sony Vaio laptop, M-audio(fasttrackpro), Abelton live 5, Cubase SX..the problem I am having is I have wirtten a large section of my music in Abelton and also have stuff rewired and going on in Cubase SX my qestion is how can i mix down whats in Abelton and record each track sepratly in real time into Cubase SX? usually I go to Devices(cubase) and select track inputs but its only giving me 2 bus channel not sure why any help would be amazing.
Cheers all!

I don't know why this is occuring, Live work great in rewire slave mode for me using cubase sx3. Open cubase first and select the cubase project file or create a new one, then open Live 2nd and do the same.
in my devices setup in cubase sx, it lists mix l, mix r and then bus 3/4, bus 5/6 etc, down to bus 63/64. All I have to do is activate those buses in cubase (they turn blue when you click and activate them) and in Live make sure that the audio output is set to 'rewire out' and then the appropriate bus 3/4, 5/6 etc. selected, then it is all controlled fine and dandy on seperate rewire channels in cubase's mixer.

Heya!
Cheers for that..I have done what you said but the issue lies with the selection of more busses it only gives me one option to highlight for some reason in cubase which is the main reason why it wont work...i have a m-audio fast track pro this should support more channels as well?
cheers again
