Well from my personal experience with them, they are sort of a mess right now as far as the business side goes, but the product is straight. I emailed them and had a very odd, and eventually rewarding experience trying to get an upgrade to the recently released Universal Binary updated Wladorf Edition software package of PPG, Attack, and D-Pole.thelike5 wrote:The WORST thing they can do is continue to hide behind photoshop images of products that most folks doubt will ever exist or continue to keep people guessing if they are actually indeed "back". Who owns Waldorf? And why is this taking so long to relay a straight story?
They said the only way they could do it was bank transfer, which was too expensive, drove the price of the upgrade to more than you would pay at Thomann for it new?!?! I declined, told them I would buy elsewhere, and the next day it arrived in the mail?????
So I emailed them and they sort of laughed about it, and said a check from me would be more than fine, thanks for being honest, it's just really crazy around here etc.
The software itself is perfect, nice to have PPG and Attack on the macbook! So whoever is in charge, they do good software, and suck at the marketing/business part.
