FM8 problem

Does anyone else have a problem with envelopes in FM8? I use clip envelope to manipulate the Brightness of a FM8 patch, but every now and then, it jumps from 100 to 50 as standard value (as max value of the envelope only means 100% of what you set as standard in the software).

I've put brightness at 80, and then the clip envelope works it's magic and all of a sudden (haven't been able to determine when it happens and due to what), the original setting goes to default 50 and the clip envelope works on that, and I haven't found a way to re-set it to 80 without clearing the envelope and redoing it.

Help?
