Playing shows in Portland.

Hi guys,

I have a band (laptops, bass guitar and drums) and we're planing on playing shows in Portland. One place we know is Holocene, but don't know
any other ones. Could anyone give me any info, please?

Or any other cafes that do open mics? I play improved music with my laptop, (using live, Reason and Spark)
It'd be fun if I could play at a cafe or something and get some donation.

Wasup Seattle!

Here are a couple of places that might be up your alley:

GoodFoot Lounge, Fez Ballroom, C-Bar, the Rabbit Hole, Ohm, Meow Meow, Produce Row...

Also, several of these places have open mic nites...the GoodFoot has a pretty cool open mic nite where you are backed by the house band...

Sounds like your doing almost exactly what we're doing (also in portland);

Dj: turntables / laptop / RS7k
Bass: also with laptop
and live drums

I would definatly be intrested in checking yall out Let us know when you get a gig!

A couple other places you might check out are the Tugboat, and Conan's
