obnoxious click in right speaker when rendering

Hi there,

I am using a clip that when rendered causes a really loud click in the right speaker. I don't hear this during regular play - I don't even hear something unusual happeing at the point the rendered click occurs.

I took the effects of the track - no change. If I turn the track volume off entierly for the cilp, no ciick. If I put volume on the track for that clip, the click is at the same intensity, no matter the track volume. If I set the volume to rise from 0 do x in the middle of the clip, no matter how small x is, the click is the same intensity. As I mentioned, the click is on the right speaker, & if I look at the wave form for the rendered sound, the click is only negative values (i mean - its just on the bottom half of the wave form - it doesnt' go all the way from top to bottom - hope that makes sense, and is useful info)

I made this clip by passing a vocal sample thru some dsp effects.

Does any body have any ideas about what might be causing it & what I could do to fix it?
