use Logic ESX24 in Live?
alright i know there are some super geeks out there, so maybe you can tell me if theres a way to use the esx24 from logic express in live. It seems that in my logic folder under sampler instruments there is nothing there...in my garage band folder it has the sampler instruments but when it says "importing" and then it finishes it dosn't do anything. HELP! is this possible?

haha thanks anyways. i figured as much but i thought there might be a way around it.
here's another doozy for ya:
i want to sample my own piano
it's a shitty piano in my dads house...it's old as fuck and has built in chorus effect lol.
so i record samples C1 through C5 at soft medium and loud velocities.
now i take a rack and pop in like 30 simplers into it.
here's where i run into problems...
if you put the C1 into a simpler, it plays that note at like C3 or something, so your keyboard is off. i been beating my head against a wall trying to figure out how to make it work so i can build my own "shity akoustic piano." anyone tried this before?

Yes it can be done... I'm sorry I'm not up for going into a long explanation right now but I'll give you some tips and maybe you can sort it out from there. You need to use the "scale" plug ins pre each simpler. See how you do with that... if you're still having trouble or someone doesn't beat me to it I make you the rack to show you how. Yes you're right... I don't know what I was thinking... PITCH thats what I meant, not scale. Scale wouldn't do shit in that case.. except for confuse the hell out of you. I was very tired when I wrote that hence my lack of enthusiasm to give a full explanation.Rogue Scrunt wrote:for get the scale plug in, you neep the pitch plug in
