midi mapping with sampler/can not map the sample start and

i can not map the sample start function in sampler( only filters can be mapped?), also this function and few others can not be recorded as an automation, how come? those functions are not in the midi section of the sampler, how come?help!!!

It´s like this per design. Simpler would fullfill these tasks.
