live no longer recognizes multiple processors

Post by snowtires » Wed Jan 24, 2007 7:30 pm

I was reading another thread where the person said if they turned off multicore support, rewire didn't crackle, so I tried that, it didn't work. But now, even after I've turned multicore support back on, Live runs as is there is only one processor. Projects that took up 25% cpu power before yesterday now take up 65%-75%. What the fuck?

So I restarted my computer and that didn't help. After the computer rebooted, I opened Live, opened the same project I was working on and it was still registering at 75% cpu power. But I went to another project and came back, and now it works. Was the beta testing just for show? I mean, come on.
