I like that they spend the whole piece basically implying that Obama is not fit to be president because he was raised by a Muslim father and went to a Madrassas school for a time, and the Hussein middle name.....then at the end they say oh we're not concerned about all Muslims, just the ones that want to blow us up!

If I closed my eyes and listened to this I would swear that I was listening to the 700 club. This is such blatant racism and religious bigotry that they are spewing it makes me sick. I would expect Borat to be present to instigate some of the comments that they make. The callers are real gems too. "Not all Muslims...Just the ones that want to blow us up" smirk, twinkle, giggle. WTF? Her saying that in such a "non-threatening" manner doesn't mask how base and crude their world view is.

and where are all these bigots when there are a whole yard full of Saudi oilmen hanging out at the Bush residence?

left vs right
dem vs rep
bread vs bullets
good vs evil
its all been argued before.
but history shows us that who's right or wrong has never
determined the outcome of any conflict.
what really matters is survival.
eat vs starve
win vs lose
live vs die
conviction vs complacency
unfortunately,we as a nation have become complacent.
we are a brave nation of people who are willing to die for what we believe in
but we are no longer willing to kill for it
the threat is real, and they are willing to kill us.

so get off of bush--at least he has the nads to try.

i will not accept any rebuttle on this issue, because i prefer

to stay a-LIVE 6

don't get me wrong, i'm not pro BUSH. he and his advisors have taken the word 'INEPTITUDE" to a whole new level.i'm from the woodstock/vietnam generation so ive been watching presidents screw up for a long time. there are only 3 presidents (in my lifetime) that did not suck.
KENNEDY....avoided nuclear war
LBJ.....who,100 yrs later- actually did what lincoln gets credit for
REAGAN....."mr gorbichov,tear down this wall"

all the rest suck,BUSH included.
i'm only giving him credit for having the balls to call them a fascist
theocracy, and trying to do something about it.albeit unsuccessfully back-asswards.
so to anyone who wants;

HE-lary for "president" and
BILL-ary for "first lady"

can go ahead and vote for it,bush is a LAMEduck anyway-
both literally and figureatively.

just remember the threat is real........1pauper1

i'm not pro bush
i'm not pro war
i am pro LIVE 6

AND HERE IS MY WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION ;

The threat from Iraq was not real before we invaded, it's real now. Bush effectively took the tragedy of 9/11 and proceeded to make things EVEN WORSE.

A 12% increase in troop levels just to try and secure one city out of an entire country is not going to make the terrorist threat any better.

So Bush had the balls to invade a country that posed no threat to us, while those responsible for 9/11 are not only still free, but even bigger and stronger by expanding into Iraq - something they couldn't do under Saddam.

Thanks Bush,you're a great leader!

i agree 100% , 12,000 more sitting ducks that are only allowed
to be car bomb targets and are not allowed to shoot back, much less
actually attack -- is ridiculous. either play to win, or don't play at all.

but this game has been going on since the crusades. we just have
ignored it all this time.their doctrine calls for our extinction.and one of these
days they will have the means to accomplish it.they will not stop until we are
all dead.
i agree bush is not the solution,but niether is the ostridge theory;
they walk on sand,we stick our heads in it and wait to be cut off
at the neck.

as just an example his "unknown knowns, known knowns, and known unknowns" statement after 9/11. You see the interviewer's face after he gets done talking and it looks like they are watching one of those scariest home videos or something.

He's very passive agressive to.
That's Rumsfeld. And the "known unknowns" monologue is 100% accurate. People laugh at that, but honestly, it's probably the best way anybody could have verbalized that dilemma (or "trilemma" I guess).

but the thing you're forgetting there is that these "islamo-fascists" you're talking about are the minority of muslims, but all of them are getting branded with the same iron

there are 1.2 billion muslims on this planet - over a fifth of the worlds population, so it's a big mistake to go around thinking like that

by those numbers, then 1.2 billion chinese and 1 billion Indians, Americans/Brits/Australians etc are by far the minority yet are the ones swanning around like they have a right to be the worlds policemen starting fires they cant put out!!

plus - 1pauper1 - you said it in your last post: "either play to win, or don't play at all." - America has had a history of making that mistake - vietnam was the big glaring example - a war they could have won if they were in it to win it as the British proved in Malaya ten years previously (very similar guerilla type war)

the game of war has to be to win, if you're going to do it at all, otherwise all you're doing is killing more and more innocents with no point at the end of it - I'm not for war at all, but I'm even more against unwinnable wars where they only kill many many people and only make the problem worse

you also said: " unfortunately,we as a nation have become complacent.
we are a brave nation of people who are willing to die for what we believe in
but we are no longer willing to kill for it"

the problem seems to be more a case of not actually knowing what you believe in - why the hell was vietnam fought? why did all those people die? does anyone even know any more? what happened to the communist "threat" that wasnt quashed in vietnam? was it really worth all those deaths? despite the defeat, Life's still pretty good for people in the west and the communist bloc is non-existant......

and why are they in Iraq? something about WMDs?? well that turned out to be complete shit and it's blatantly apparent they knew that before hand

so the only things left are Oil and strategic position. Well you can kind of understand the strategic viewpoint, although it would probably have been far more sensible to just work on palestine and israel working out a split and get the hell out of the mid-east and let them sort their own problems - Iraqis on the whole were actually enjoying a good standard of life before the invasion if they didnt get on the wrong side of saddam - in fact Bush will be remembered by Iraqis in their history as a much bigger blight on their country than Saddam will

and as for the reason being Oil - well that makes America no better than common thieves - are you happy to wear that?

here with Iraq we have another big example of why this kind of war is just stupid and pointless - it doesnt work and I would have thought after vietnam they would have been acutely aware of that, but I guess Bush didnt actually go there so he didn't have too much of an aversion towards creating another one

Bush would have to go down as the stupidest president in history though
