Beginner question

Post by bpcNORD » Sat Jan 27, 2007 8:00 pm

I am using Ableton Live with Wizoo's Darbuka Plug in. When I try to record the percussion, l see audio hitting the meters but I am not getting a display of the audio and it doesn't playback after recording. What am I doing wrong?

for the track in question, set MONITOR to IN to record, then set it to AUTO to playback.

read the manual section, the manual is quite good and easy to read. also check the sticky in the tips and tricks forum.

Well, thanks for trying but I still don't hear my recording. If I hear it and the meters are moving, shouldn't it be recorded? (Also, I don't see any envelope being laid down while recording.)
