random stops between reason and ableton?

hi all,
so I'm noticing an odd occurance when running reason into ableton via rewire... sometimes reason stops for like four bars after around 20 bars of playback looping. it's very odd. it only happens sometimes, and it's very random... I can't really figure it out. Reason loops ad infininum when it's running standalone, but when it's rewired it seems that it likes to break down and stop playing randomly. Anyone have thoughts? I'm running live lite 6.0.3 maudio powered and reason 3.5 on a macbook core 2 duo running os x 10.4.

Happened to me too, when I used reason and live together. Never found out what it was, never fixed it. My assumption is that it's a rewire problem.

the only thing I have found is fixing the latency within ableton to be exactly past where you get sound facets from the soundcard. if you run the config lesson in ableton that shows you how to set the latency, it seems to help. I have found that my looping issue is a little better after this, I still have some stutters here and there, but mostly it seems to work better. I thought that it was fixed if I turned off dual core support within ableton, but that didn't do it.

i'm waiting on an ableton support request, if I get an answer i'll post it everyone's way.
