808 Bass Drums and Impulse
why impulse cut the bass in a 808 bass drum the kick is sounding like a click clack? Is there any possibility to fix this?
I´ve been experiencing similar problems, and I think it´s a major flaw in Impulse - on the default settings, a sample should just be played back "as-is"
I´ve had some success cutting out the click by slightly fiddling with the start and decay parameters, but it changes the sample just a bit...
ARG! Ableton needs to fix this ASAP, not in the next version - they should release a patch to fix this.

Or load it in to the simpler and change the start point of the sample.

I recommend using simplers.HeavyBeats wrote:funk313 idea was the best i hobe ableton fix this problem in the nearly future i dont want buy battery only becouse impulse can`t handle drum sounds one to one.
Here's a link to a patch of a rack of simplers that emulate an Impulse.
Apart from the time stretch and choke options, its all there.
And way more flexible because you can add slots, layer sounds and change the keymapping.
