DRUM N BASS HEADS!! HELP A NEWBIE OUT!!!

So I got Live 6, I cannot figure out how to do a simple tech step drum pattern on the Midi, I suck ass @ this can any of you maybe post an image on what the patter is supposed to look like? I can't figure it out, it doesn't sound right :cry:

Prob find more info about this at dogsOnAcid
My sugestion would be to sample some breaks/drum patterns you like, run them through something like Phatmatik Pro or Recycle, export the midi file into Live and experiment.

When I get home I'll throw you a screen shot of one of my patterns.

But as already said www.dogsonacid.com is by far the best place to be asking, very drum and bass specific questions.

copy the way the guy lays out his instruments and use his wavs in impulse to get you going.

I totally forgot about Simon's site. Some great tutorials on there and he makes some very good drum and bass as well. N1 for reminding me!
