Library-Issue? (No Live-Project)

Post by BASSbüro » Sat Feb 03, 2007 6:21 am

live 6 should automatically create live-projects. and not to confuse it with a live-set, cause a live-set isn't the top-level of the folder-structure:

live-project
--> samples
--> live-set

where are my live-projects? there are only live-sets. when i create a new song and save it, live only create a live-set without a live-project.

what's wrong here? :?

You must be saving within the Library, or another Project Folder.

"Nested" projects are not allowed, and the Library counts as a Project.

when i save whithin the library, ableton doesn't create a project-folder but a live-set.

ableton only create a project-folder, when i save beyond the hole ableton-file-structure. for example on the desktop-level.

right?

damn, i get crazy with this fuckin' odd file-structure...... :evil:

Yes that's right, but more specifically it will create a project folder whenever you save at a location which is not already inside another project folder.

Because each clip can only belong to ONE project, although it can of course be used in other projects, but it _belongs_ to only one :)
