lucifer vst, WOW!

Post by Johnisfaster » Mon Feb 05, 2007 9:15 pm

I can't believe it took me so long to understand the wonders of this plug. I tried the demo and couldn't get it to do anything at all! so I gave up on it a long time ago, but trying it again and just realised how amazing it is.

just sharing the love.

Theres a video tutorial here:

which also acts as a nice demo.

Absolutely fantastic software.

you mean free upDATES don't you? a long time ago I bought fruityloops thinking I got free upGRADES when it turns out you only get free upDATES which I was upset about cause I was new to the software world and didn't understand the difference.

Indeed, Thanks for setting me straight!

Still, pretty amazing bit of software. Ableton should do a copycat of it [of course with a better interface etc] for Live 7.... or should I say, for Live 6.5 [come on abes you know you wanna]

I definetly think ableton could "borrow" the slicing concept and just throw that into the clip envelope we already have.

Dude we need more than that to come close to what Lucifer does.

Think about Lucifer for DJs and performers. As an effect unit it acts like the perfect hybrid of beat repeat, supatrigga, and Live dummy clips.

Such a kool bit of software. I mean, for production or performance. It is the perfect partner for Live.

I'm using lucifer since more than a year now, I did buy an early version cause I was searching an alternative to live beat repeat that can be cool but not sufficient for my needs.

I did receive the version 2 for free too so I guess its not like fruity loops upgrade for life fake deal.

Now I use lucifer as a loop player, directly on a midi track and the new timestrecthing options are awesome.

This pluggin rock totally.
