I was previously using Live 5 on my laptop (2.26 GHz Pentium M with 2 gigs of RAM), had no problems running it. For various reasons I had to switch to my desktop as my music computer. The specs are 3.2 GHz Pentuim 4 with 1 gig of RAM. Now I get this message quite a bit. "This action would exceed current feature limitations". It pops up even if I'm just trying to load up the industial bass loop. I went through and did all the tips from MusicXP.net to no avail.
Is this just a question of needing more RAM? Do I need a new sound card? (I'm not sure what kind of sound card I have, I don't even know how to check for that). I'm using an Edirol UA-25 as my audio interface. My video card is a 256 Nvidia which is the same as what's in the laptop, so I don't see how that would be the problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think this error occurs unless you're running a Lite version of Live (bundled with a piece of hardware).
Have you contacted our support team at [email protected] ?

It's the full version of Live 5 that I bought direct from the Ableton site. I just contacted support. Thanks for the link.dCross wrote:I don't think this error occurs unless you're running a Lite version of Live (bundled with a piece of hardware).
