Adding FX to an individual audio clip

Post by MOR01 » Sat Feb 10, 2007 8:45 pm

Hello-

I know you can add FX to each track to get the overall effect on all clips in that track but what about just a piece of a single clip?

Does anyone know if there is a feature that allows you to add FX to a particular section of an individual audio clip...say a delay on the last bar of a 4 bar count?

Thanks in Advance!

Draw an automation envelope on the clip in clip view. For the rest of the clips make sure they have automation drawn in to turn off the effect or set it to completely dry.

For the most part tracks share FX, IMO the work flow is easier if you put the uniquely effected clip into it's own track.

Thanks-I'll try doing this on one track like you said.
