Newbie question: How to convert audio track to mono?

How do I specify an audio track to play or record mono only? After a track is recorded, how do I convert it to mono?

i'm not sure about converting to mono within in live...but you could open that track in any external audio editor and use the "convert to mono" feature...then reload that back into live.

insert a utility, set "width" to 0. the output will be mono.
