This is a dream. I feel like someone is going to wake me up and I'll have to go back to trying to sync Live and Logic.

THANK YOU ABLETON!!!

The only thing I'm keeping is Numerology.

yup. the last version of bidule was not as stable for me as the one before that. I'll keep it even after live 4 comes out but not once they start charging for it. since live 4 will do all the things that i really use bidule for it won't really be worth paying for it as it is now. those Plogue guys better step up and deliver something really MAJOR if they want to keep people using that program.

think I'm gonna cry.... :D

*sob...I've wasted so much money....sob*

Think Ableton's going to really pull the rug from everyone elses feet with this one!

Think that's decided it for me, I'm gonna sell my PC and make the move to mac now.

Fact thinking about I'm going to sell pretty much everything. 8O

Looking at min system requirements...actually looks like less than live 3!

Oh my god, I've been waiting for this and now it's here and it looks like it's EXACTLY how I wanted it to be ! Great to see that MIDI clips can be sent to external hardware and not just VST instruments, I think that's really important.

Think I'll still keep Energy XT cos it's got cool stuff like the Chords and Arpeggiator components but everything else can just bugger off.

Only thing is, I feel a bit scared now because there can be no more excuses - if I can't make some great music with this then I know I'll never do it :?

I'm glad to see such positive praise, support, and loyalty by the users. I think Live has a nice hint of sulty appeal amongst its users that does not exist in any other community right now. I'm glad to be a part of the family and share the joy.

Yeah, this is historic really...What could ever happen to our music making environments that would carry a greater impact? For me, after going from Deck to Pro Tools to Logic to Reason to Logic again to Bidule to Numerology (though I still love and will use Num) , and ever since Live 1.0 trying to make some combination of the above work with Live to provid midi....nothing could or will be as momentous as this move. I don't WANT anymore earthshaking changes! I've been so focused on the system for so many years, and unable to completely focus on the music. I feel legitimately that this will free up so much mental bandwidth to be creative, and once I gain that real estate, I'm never giving it back...
