If anybody has any good tips for rewiring reason into Live, or any Ideas like how you are applying it please list them. I think one of the biggest issues facing computer musicans is the features set in the programs, its hard to put it all in perspective. thanks for the tips.

Just open up Live (the Master) then select reason in the pulldown, and then open up Reason (the slave). I didn't have to select anything in the program settings.

Tip 2:When using Live with Reason do not create a "Mixer" in Reason so you can Rewire them individually into Lives mixer by plugging the outputs of Reason's "DR REX, NN 19 ,NN XT " directly to the "Hardware Interface" in Reason.
This allows you to record all tracks from Reason at once into Lives clips .This saves time in exporting files out of Reason one at a time for external processing.

Rewiring Reason

Since I started using Ableton well after I started using Reason, I have lots of Reason tracks that I'm using Ableton to add VST effects to. Any time you want to bring in existing Reason tracks, you need to note the tempo in Reason before opening the track under Ableton. (This means starting Reason before you fire up Ableton, then shutting Reason down, then Firing up Ableton, then firing up Reason.) Ableton's default tempo always overrides the tempo in Reason.
Not a biggie, but helpful to know.
