Multi-clip view

I would like to be able to see more than one clip editors at the same time. It would be very useful for DJing purposes, but I don't see how that could be implemented without detachable windows.

This is something that is of huge interest to me, especially for DJing. Surely we could select multiple tracks and have the waveforms overlayed in the display? Or even stacked on top of each other and scaled? Has this been discussed much before?
