that would be great..

how about when you [alt+click] on the preview play icon in a cell,
the sample reverses and the play icon flips, pointing to the left..

this gives you a visual clue that the sample is reversed..

a major improvement of impulse is a must ..

an assignable envelope/lfo, more precise sample start and, as you said, reverse ...

reverse would be dead easy. they aren't adding it. they don't care. this is version six. move on.
