8 Bit sounds 4TW

I'm looking for good sources of 8 bit NES-type sounds. The majority of the stuff I've found has been rather unsatisfactory..just hasn't had the correct character. So apart from having to buy a gameboy, does anyone know of any particularly good plugins/refills/sample cds/etc. that fit the bill?

8 bit family 1 and 2 by big fish audio sample disc-dont have yet

Hardware:

Sidstation-dont have yet

Monomachine-have

Commodore 64 with Prophet 64 software very cool-dont have yet

Software:

Reator 5 Oki Computer softsynth-have

This month's puremagnetik pack is pretty nice. There's also the "magical 8 bit plug" if you're on a Mac.

Puremagnetik just released a Live Pack of SID chip presets and standalone waveforms.

The presets are pretty heavily processed but you might like the "Pure SID" category for just the raw waveforms.
