Understandable but I am really fucking tired of the "in good fun" bashing.

I mean I could be "all in good fun" and call your mom a cunt, but it wouldn't be nice now would it?

Just my POV.

problem is people think you mean the cheesy pop tart mcTiesto Van Dijk van Buren - in fact the dutch - lets just Nuke holland and it will all go away! (sorry poster, not your fault, I know! :D )

My mom doesn't make trance though...

but if trance has touched your life in such a magical and motherly way it'd be called cosmic, I agree with you and say we should stop making fun of your religion, I mean we wouldn't want to offend you

I'm suprised anyone hasn't mentioned vast amounts of MDMA.

Clearly the drug of choice for trance muzak.

I love trance, makes me go into a ...trance...

The concern has been "irreversable" changes in serotonin uptake synapses. Most post MDMA (5-10 years later) users end up bipolar/manic deppressive.

The Jury's still in terms of how much it affects the 5HTP2 receptors, but Serotonin returns to normal within about a week or so depending. I was the other way round and used to be a depressive mess until I took MDMA, now I'm a fully adjusted, happy, and musically productive member of society. Yay Me!

You never hear any good drug stories........... anyway.......

You wanna make good trance music music? Easy...... give it to the Head Boyz. They took a Gay As FUCK house band (Li Kwan) and made 1 of the best pieces of trance ever made (Point Zero). Trance is soooooooo 1995 though, as soon as that TWAT Sash! got the formula that pretty much killed it stone dead. It's like your Dad in flares.... you love it, but you can't help but feel embarressed by it.

Still better the funky arseholing house though!

I'm assuming that whichever drug it is that helps make trance will also help make Happy Hardcore?

heh hehhh. I'm with Bill Hicks on this one.

:D

Don't remember nothing but a gooood time. 15 years later and I'm still ok....i think.

Seriously though, i think it did give me an insight into what your music can do, or more directly what makes music appeal to those in a, shall we say, party mood?

That doesn't necessarily make it easier to replicate of course...

Good music is good music, me not fussed about the genre

Unforunately, there is no such thing as good trance.
