I checked out Phatmatik yesterday. Looks cool, but seemed kinda...klunky? I don't know, maybe I just need to get used to it.

Beyond rewire, how does FL integrate with Live (5)?

I think I heard somewhere that FL can run as a VSTi in any host, true?

Can I run multiple FL devices at the same time as VST in Live?

I think I will have to try the demo of this over the weekend, as well as get deeper into Phatmatik.

What about Guru (haven't tried yet) vs. Phatmatik? How do they stack up?

Phatmatik is kind of old, and I don't think it is supported any more either... so it is in an almost awesome place, but I guess it ended up kind of abandoned.

GURU all the way, too many reasons to list, but believe me it's better than the rest. Let's just say, pattern firing, scene firing, eight engines, and solid VST/AU integration to start.

$259! Yikes, that's more than I paid for Live 5!

oh hell, if it's that much better than Phatmatic I guess it's worth the extra $100.

I will be trying this out over the weekend as well.

I'm using idrum with Live 5 and it's gold. The program uses .wav and .aiff samples so if you know anyone using an MPC, just ask to borrow some of their drum cd's and your rollin.

I'm not sure if it will be available for PC's but I picked it up for $65 Can.

(guru) it isn´t cheap, but it is one of the few really worthy it.

are you refering to phatmatik or phatmatik pro? phatmatik pro got sold to izotope and is still fully supported.
