Nothin beats one of those times when a song you're working on just seems to come together perfectly ..like the sounds and rhythms had no other purpose but to be done in the way you've done them.Euphoria

like a cool drink of water on a hot day in the desert... ;) Congratulations! Did you do anything beforehand to help this track flow this way?

i think the key is to not stray away from the mood that the song has from percussion on up. i have a problem with creating pretty mellow rhythm and bass tracks then trying to get too crazy with the melodies(especially with guitars) and it never seems to fit right. i dont know..simplicity is where its at. and i figured out that after you create your drum loop and bass it helps a lot to right down a random sentence and just sing with it and more times than not itll naturally flow into a melodie that sounds and fits perfect.
