What do you use Simpler for?
Amazing and really useful tool, here's why:
Any time you have an audio sample that you want to play in a melodic scale, Simpler is the most efficient way to get it done
For instance - when you recieve remix parts, and find you want to turn a static part into a bassline:
- Drag the clip into Simpler,
- Create a MIDI clip,
- Turn the part into what you need by writing the notes into the clip
This goes for any part where you want to create a new melody out of an audio sample ... Simpler is a great place to start your transformations ... then of course use any additional FX you need to after that in the chain
IMO dont always think of the advanced complex uses, lots of Live tools are universal basic problem solvers that get quick and quality results
