Templates

Post by grizzler » Mon Feb 26, 2007 11:13 pm

Hey all, been using Live Lite for a while but just went and bought the full boxed version. WOW i love it! But i have one little point. I can see in the manual it talks about templates but i cannont work it out. There is no file called template or anything. I only wanted it to have my midi controls mapped so i dont have to do that every time i open a set. Is this possible?

Thanks

Hi there,
I'm still at work, so don't blame me when I'm wrong.
Making a template.
Set up a document (song empty) the way you want it. if satisfied open the prefs and there must be a page in where you see "template". As far as I know, you can safe it there. If not, please let me know and I'll get back.

Good Luck
Etienne.

And to save that template for future versions of Live or if you need to reinstall Live (say, after a formatting), I generally save a session as "Template" and THEN set my template in preferences to that session.

Yeah! And when i realized that Live 6 packs every song neatly into its own Project, i went as far as saving different Tamplates for different occasions + collecting all their various pre-configured devices and racks in there, too.

***ONE LOVE***
