i really liked the three tracks - very nice stuff! i think i like breakfast with neil best. the guitar has that typical warm "samplish" sound...
do you mainly use samples from records or vst's?

I mainly used samples from records. Dont use vst's. Just started with ableton 6 when it came out so these are my first songs ever!
Really need to learn more....

word vst's can't beat the sound of real samples imo.
so do you record all your stuff with a midi controller or do you also do skratch production? just asking because the thread title says "turntablism"...

I know wot ya mean bro....
I am all new to this computer music! I am hooked though! I use the mpd24 as my midi controller and my next song is pretty much all scratching and some beats with the mpd24 thats why turtabalism is up there.
I aint got round to finishing it yet having that writer's block at the mo dude!

Yeah man!
Thats very similar to what i do when on the turntables with live so its called "scratch production"....
I have always tried other ways of doing it then discovered live it has opened up so many possiblities and using the mpd24 its almost like an mpc with live built in!
