Selling your Virus Ti?? Noooooooo. The sounds are so so beautiful - how will you be able to re-create those with a soft synth??

That's what I'm talking about

I'm talking about dual DSP hardware chips on the virus creating 80 note poly but taking up zero CPU! Oh and the virus is also my soundcard, midi interface, effects unit and midi controller (for Live 6 and various soft synths) all via one USB cable. Wasn't trying to start a hardware v soft synth debate, I use both, just interested in what soft synth you would use to replace the virus?

You can't compare the Ti to any softsynths really but some softsynths that come close are the Virus Powercore (Of course) or the Z3ta+,Vanguard or the ReFX Nexus

just call me boring but the Ti really didnt do too much for me considering how long i waited for that damn thing. I would have been happier with a jupiter 6.
