Need help with Novation Remote 25 - Keys Sticking

So Ive had my remote25 for less than a year and for some reason sometimes the keys stick in ableton though they are physically depressed. For example: I will play a chord and when I let go one of the notes will still be playing even though none of the keys are depressed. The only way to get it to stop is to hit the stuck note again. Please help! Thanks.

OK, so i figured out that this sticking happens exclusively when I am pressing down 2 or more keys at once. this makes me think that this is definitely a software or hardware problem. Could this be a result of my soundcard, drivers or windows vista? Any ideas?

Did you try another recording program?

Edit - I just noticed the word "Vista". Maybe that's the reason? Probably is.

yeah, it happens with ableton and all my standalone soft synths. After doing some research on hanging and dropped notes online I think It is a driver problem. Hope Novation gets their act together and gets a vista driver out soon. Surprised no one else is reporting the same. Am I the only brave (or stupid) soul who made the leap to vista?

I have a problem with live & hanging notes sometimes at random it will keep a note playing usually at the end of the loop, but only on playback so its not my remote i thought it was an ableton bug.

Doesn't happen for me at all during playback only playing live...

You could try using normal midi cable if you are using the usb midi, i find sometimes usb midi can cause problems.

UPDATE

Brought this to Novation's attention and they were able to replicate the problem which is an issue with all the drivers apparently and they are working on a fix for a new driver release.
