crash

i'm putting together an album using full tracks and assorted audio clips. i have a strange problem..

this particular problem occurs when i try to group two clips (highlighting them), zooming in, then moving them. i moved them close to where i need them, but when i try to get them exactly on, the program crashes! i keep rebooting and trying again. same problem.. same clips. i can move everything else around without any problem. i tried to copy and paste the error message, but my computer crashes after i click "close". i don't even know if i can give enough details to diagnose the problem. sigh..

Best to contact ableton about this.... and provide detailed system information.

check each clip.
double click on the clip. if you don't see the waveform appear in the bottom window, that clip will crash live when you drag it with other clips. these were tracks that i recorded live into live via reason.

Hi,

it would be extremly useful for us, if you try to create a selfcontained set with as less as possible clips that is justified so that the next one action will crash the program. And then send me the set together with the description of the action that will crash the program.

But in anyway you should write to me directly so I could ask you the needed information.

hi,

i have the the same problem. when i try to copy and paste maybe 64 bars/8 tracks in the arranger, live crashs. (os 9.2)
