Hello all.
For some time I have been using FL3.56 and the EZeditor to record a lot of my loops and keyboard performance based files. I have EZ and Fruityloops configured so I can record, sync , edit and bring the files back into Fruity seemlessly.
Well... now that I own Ableton Live I have a lot of interest in getting FL recorded into LIVE. I know I can do the export/render shit but that takes way too long and too much organization is required.
Is anyone doing this?
I do not care about the start/stop or sync between the 2 programs/sequencers. I am just having a hard time getting both programs to run simulataneously using either ASIO or DX drivers. Anyone have any ideas?
I have been opening up Fruity first, then open live. Then I do some routing on my mixer (DM24) and hammerfall card to send Fruityloops outputs to another stereo pair inputs and finally use these as the source in LIVE. The output pair that I use in Fruityloops have been "dsiabled" in Live. In fact I have tried a number of settings and it still would not work. Either Live was unable to generate output (due to driver?) or it was not allowing me to play/start the sequencer.
If anyone has gotten LIVE and FRUITYLOOPS to both be open and record/play simutaneously please post up!
Oh yeah my sound card is hammerfall dsp. No problems running it into either program by itself.
THanks,
systek

Hi,
Try using the MME driver in Live and ASIO in FL. Make sure that you aren't
sharing any inputs and outputs with either app. The program that is using
ASIO should always use 1/2.
I haven't used Fruity Loops in long time so I don't know how much has
changed but it used to be very straight forward to render the project and
always seemed to go very quickly.
