This is the end of my street.
Would you leave.
Nobody has ever predicted a quake or tsunami.
I predict nice surf and hotties forever and ever ..........

Whatever keeps everybody away. The earthquake scare has been helpful in that regard.

Wait.... do you feel that?
In my life
Why do I smile
At people who I'd much rather kick in the eye?

Yes, point taken guys. Though there might be a significant amount more if not for the earthquake and tidal wave fear. After the Northridge quake many moved out of cali and homes dropped in price for a minute. But yes, more move in than out.
Truly though, us natives are out numbered 30 to 1

SoCal ain't all of California. But I'd still rather be down there than in the midwest.

no I'm not back on the weed - the mega-quake program was just on telly last night - it was saying the cascadia region is likely to have a magnitude 9 quake some time and talking about what it would do to the PNW, not to mention bigger tsunamis than 2005 all over
then it was only a couple of weeks ago I finished reading a book that among many other things talked about yellowstone and how it's 20,000 years overdue and how it will cause global devastation, but the PNW will pretty much vanish!
so overall the PNW started to look like a bad place to live!!!
