Using Waves SSL 4000 in Live

Is it possible to use Sony Acid Plug Ins on Live tracks.

I am trying to use Waves SSL 4000 plug-in which seems only to operate in Sony Acid 6. Is there a way to wire a track from Live through a plug-in in Acid then back to be rendered in Live?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They work in Live, if the editor interface is blank when you first load any SSL, just close it and re-open it.

Have you done this personally? They will not load in my live and on the waves website Ableton is not listed as a compatible host program but Acid is (and they do work in there on my system) I have refreshed the vst folder in the preferences and still nothing. Thanks for your help.

I have, I've got the diamond bundle and the SSL's, they all work fine with Live, give me a URL and I'll dump a screenshot if you like

Once I've installed these, Live doesn't see them in my Vst folder.

Sorry mate, don't know, haven't got the IR's, I use Altiverb for convolution reverb.

If you have a remote SL and the latest OS with Universal Automapping they work first time
