OK, simple problem but cant seem to get it...
trying to sync two powerbooks
1st powerbook Is running Nuendo (master sync)
2nd powerbook running live (slave)
using 2 midisport USB 2x2's
Nuendo is sending Midi clock messages fine (tested with a drum machine)
but Live does not recieve any Midi clock info.... 2nd powerbooks 2x2 midi light is getting midi info...
have set live to recieve external sync..but no luck..
any help would be grand!
not Nsync
please make sure that you have set up live's mididevice preferences correctly :
Open the preferences and choose the "midi" tab - select your midiinputdevice for recieving the clock and choose "midiclock" as synctype.
Now you should see the sync led blinking (right to the "Ext" button).
Enable the sync button to slave live to the external signal.
hope that helps ...
