Hi,
I'm planning to use Live together with the plugin Amplitube (guitar modeling).
Up to now the only way I found for switching presets is creating 3 or 4 audio tracks and load Amplitube for each track and then assign a midi command to enable recording to activate one of the tracks.
I'm afraid it overcharges the CPU to have a lot of plugins open..
Any advise?
Many thanks!

ableton with amplitube
how do you connect amplitube with ableton??
ARDJ - I was trying to get a setup where Amplitube gets patch change info from the bank/sub bank boxes in Clip View, I couldn't find a set up. I assume you mean change patches with an external controller.
voilaviola - Amplitube is just a VST plug in, it's connected the same way any VST is connected, at the end of the day it's just an audio effect.
jrathkopf - that would take as much CPU as having separate tracks. Maybe turning the unused Amplitubes off would help.
acibahia - like ARDJ says, use an external controller to switch through presets.
