I don't see it until I take either unconfortable positions or put the laptop in very dangerous angles to see it.

Yeah, you can turn the brightness up all the way, but that's about it.

i remember seeing something on CNT a long time ago that had some type of filter for this. Have you tried google?

not sure realy, but had to do a sound check the other day in the sun aand couldn't see a danm thing. hope i never get a day gig cause there wil be trouble

If you're on a Mac, put the screen into negative mode & play around with different Ableton skins.
Some kinds of sunglasses can help, too.
