Magnetik Step16 Advanced Arpeggiator ver1

Post by micah frank » Tue Mar 13, 2007 8:21 pm

Here's a 16 step arp I've been messing around with: http://www.puremagnetik.com/freebies/Ma ... 20ver1.alp

1) No (trigger) clips required. Standalone 16 step sequencer built only from Live effects
2) Independent rhythmic and pitch control
3) Load up the included .als file, or load the .adg file with an instrument of your choice

I like the way the sequencer is implemented.

I am getting double triggers though on several steps, like 4 for example (mainly off beats). Intentional?

Maybe I do not understand completely. The chord/arp combi is basically to create the delay. The note is then flattened to C and the the pitch shift is applied. Correct? I am struggling a bit understanding the use of the chord plugs.

ya... there were a few small issues with it. We're actually working on this for the next Puremagnetik release (after microdrum). Microdrum uses something similar but we'll get another version of this melodic one soon.

Thanks for the feedback!
