Operator will NOT open

I have eneterd my serial number and everything works fine, except Operator requests a serial number. Where do I obtain this information? Shouldn't it just open with the initial serial number. I currently have the demo mode "hidden".

Any help would be appreciated.

you would have a separate serial number for Operator.
mbp 2.66, osx 10.6.8, 8GB ram.
