The manual says that all i have to do in Live 6 to program a pad on my Trigger Finger to launch a clip or loop is to select it and click on the midi button in the right had corner then the midi mapping window appears and supposedly a bunch of info should pop up so all i have to do is hit a pad to reassign it. The problem is that the window pops up but there is no info in it its completely empty. I have it set up right its getting midi signals i have input and remote turn on as well as the output but still I get nothing when I try to use midi map. I just want to launch clips and loops just like if I were to hit the play button on each clip in session mode so how does it happen please watch this video to see what I mean because it explains it better then I can, here is the video-

The process should go:
1. Ctrl+M for midi map. this should change the color to indicate you're in midi map mode.
2. Select what you want to map, in this case the play button on a clip.
3. Hit the trigger pad you want to control it with.
4. Ctrl+M to exit midi map.
5. Push trigger pad to launch clip.
If you're doing this and nothing works, then you might have a problem with you're controller.
