Excellent, Live 4!!!

S'funny though, to read all this pantwetting stuff,..:)
I just "downgraded", back to 3.0.2, coz of the bugs in 3.0.3....

I'll love 4 though..:D

saving options

Post by pony m » Sun Jun 13, 2004 1:07 am

any idea if version 4 will be able to save samples/wav's of its drum machine/sampler inside of its own song file? (similar to Reason's self-contained song).

If I recall correctly from the last newsletter, they said sometime in July. I could be mistaken about that timeframe though.

we do at least have word from Robert that as soon as there is a workable version they will share it! And about a week ago he said 'hopefully about 2 weeks' but it wouldn't be fair to hold them to that mercilessly, we just have to hope - the pressure sure must be on - they must know the mental anguish we're all suffering, so I'm sure they are going as fast as they can! They have always in the past been known for working all hours (I think L3b1 was posted in the evening)

I am eager to see this new rev; however, as someone who didn't have such good luck with the early versions of SX 1, I would rather they take their time and hammer the bugs out.

it wasn´t only ur wish.

reversing sample is a "state of the art" effect.
nevertheless it has been included this time.

my focus will be the midiinterface for using softwaresynths!
thats a damn feature..

i was also using live 3beta6 on stage.
the first 3 releases were quite unstable but it was solved a short time after the bugtalks
