yup it is. and plenty of other things will make the 3D worth every penny.

i definitely dont think one is better. they both will/ do kick major ass.

Dont be daft.
good point. and word usage.

my idea was that using hardware to control software, the EQs on mixer would be the optimumly laid out knobs to control...EQs. as opposed to using other knobs on the sides, which could be reserved for other stuff.

but hey im just a control freak.
my favorites at the moment: MASSIVE. FM8. LIVE 6. Bome's Pro. KORE.

heheh, me too!

De 3D looks the business to me, but for that price, I think it isn't worth it..
Honestly I don't really see the point of buying a djm-800, because of the lacking of an audio interface. You would need an external interface besides your "all in one" mixer...that's not the way to go imo.
I think I will buy the ultralite next month, and built it in my custom controller!

Never played with the 92, but I did with the 62 and had a v-6 for some time in my setup. The V-6 is the best sounding mixer so far and smokes even the Urei. For me, the best would be a nice controller and a V-6.

The new pioneers are all digital, and I wonder how it would be to go digital from the soundcard if possible. There is also a rotary fader option, so I can have it too :D

Anybody interested in a demo of the DJM800, take a look at www.decks.co.uk and check out the Rik Parkinson video (in the mixer section  )

i hated the djm800 when i tried it.

not being able to customize the midi assignments is annoying, and a lot of the midi it sends is all sketchy. random wobbly values, etc.

+ you only have about 4 knobs to play with if you're running all four channels as audio ins.

a big thumbs down from me.

Anybody knows much about Nuo 4 (ECLER)? No effects, but other than that - everything I read and seen about it makes it a good contender for integrating LIVE into a dj set up.

Thinking about buying this. Anybody knows anything?

The 800 has midi right? Anyone know if it can send the tempo of the playing track through midi?

It'd be nice to have Live pick up tempo automatically.
