typical stuff i'll use.... sure sm57 for snare top and bottom,
beta 91 and either beyer m88 or beta52 combination for kick
senheiser 614 for hatand under ride,
sure beta98 or senheiser e908 for toms
sure ksm141 in omni for knee mic/ mono room mic
sure ksm27 or ksm32 for overheads...
all typical mics you can get a guitar center or wherever..

most venues you go will have akg d112 or sure beta52 kick mics, sure sm57's(good for anything), sure beta57a's, sm81 condensers, sometimes senheiser 604 tom mics.
some places have the sure sm91 and beta98 condensers.
it varies...lots of stuff out there....

typical also on toms, the sennheiser md421, and for ride, and sometimes also for overheads sennheiser md441 or akg c1000.
and my personal favorit for highhat, the beyerdynamic m422.
